ABOUT MISS LAURIE
(SUPERVISOR)
Hello! My name is Laurie Charlton,
and I am so excited to join the NDCPI team as supervisor! I am a RECE, graduate of Fanshawe College. Previously, I was a stay-at-home mom for 8 years with my two boys, Ewan (now 10 years old) and Isaac (now 7 years old).
I also volunteered at my children’s school, which sparked my enthusiasm for working with children. From there, I worked with Waterloo Region District School Board in administration. I also worked for the YMCA as a supply educator and then eventually
as a lead teacher in the toddler room.
I live in Kitchener with my husband Dennis and two boys, Isaac and Ewan. In our spare time we love to camp, explore the outdoors, garden, play games and sports together. In my spare time I love to cook, garden, draw, and read.
A couple of fun facts about me
are that I am a leap year baby, born on February 29th . I also am a horticulture technician; before having children, I was employed in various garden centres, greenhouses and florist shops. Our family has our very own greenhouse where we grow vegetables from seed to then transplant into our garden.
It has been wonderful getting to know the families of NDCPI over the past few months. I
look forward to further learning and growing alongside your child!
ABOUT MISS CAITLIN

Hello my name is Miss Caitlin, I am thrilled to join NDCPI team.
I have branched into this new career path that has made this the greatest journey so far. I have worked in healthcare for the last 15 years at a nursing home. I have done many jobs from PSW, RPN on behavioural unit, ADNC in long term care and a RAI coordinator.
I have 2 beautiful children: Liam who is 3 in February and Olivia who just turned 1 on Christmas Eve. We also have a dog/ fur baby Jack who is 11 years old. I have been with my high school sweetheart Marty for 18 years. We live in Kitchener and have created a beautiful life together.
Fun fact about me is, I love a good bargain. When I was on maternity leave with my kids, I really got into cooking. I’m not the best baker but I have been enjoying making and trying new dishes for my family.
I have been enjoying getting to know all the kids and families since I have started. I can’t wait to get to know each of you more!
ABOUT MISS ERIN

Hello everyone, my name is Erin Moco and I am so excited to be back working at NDPCI. I previously worked here in 2016 for about 4 years and then decided to take some time off to be with my kiddos. I attended this very preschool back in 1987, my oldest son attended in 2013, and my youngest son attended in 2016. I love everything about this preschool and am honored to be welcomed back.
My oldest son Kaelen is 15 and my youngest son Camden is 12. They both play hockey so when I’m not at work I’m probably at the arena. I am also a mama to our dog Joey, our cats Michelangelo and Leonardo, and our bearded dragon Mango. My husband Harley and I have been together for almost 20 years and are very happy to call Ayr our home.
Here’s a fun fact about me…I skated on the National Synchronized Skating Team where we were sent to Italy for an International competition. I am also a certified Dental Assistant.
I look forward to getting to know you and your kiddos and watch them explore and grow over the next few months.
